YOUR ROLE



Our operation in Ashby de la Zouch has an exciting opportunity for a customer focused an data driven Carrier Manager to join the team where you will implement and continuously improve the service levels, capacities and cost of CEVA Logistics UK Ground operations and ensure customer requirements are exceeded.



WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?



Reporting into the Account Manager, you will:



Source transport solutions and negotiate contractual terms with carriers ensuring best price for best quality.
Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontract transport providers at the appropriate levels to support the delivery of quality service to CEVA customers.
Promote the values of CEVA behavioral and compliance standards with the carrier suppliers.
Ensure carriers are aware of CEVA Ground key priorities and demonstrate behaviors aligned to our ways of working.
Schedule performance reviews with carriers on a regular basis (or as required) to maintain a positive working relationship, address any concerns and review performance.
Support Operations teams to address performance concerns with carriers related to process adherence, service quality or commercial concerns.
Ensure effective communication mechanisms exist with key stakeholders within the business and ensure the carrier database is kept up to date with key strategic information gained in relationship meetings.


This is a Monday to Friday role.



WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?



Our ideal candidate will have proven experience in carriers’ management within a Third-Party Logistics environment. You will be self-motivated and well-organized individual. You will be IT literate with and poses strong analysing data skills. You will be able to build and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
