An exciting job opportunity has become available for the right candidate to join us as a Supported Housing Officer within our Housing Management Team. Independent Living is an integral part of what we do, delivering services primarily for our customers aged 55 and over.

You will be working across five to six sheltered schemes in the Bexley Borough providing frontline housing management for our vulnerable customers including adults with learning disabilities, mental health support needs and older people.



You will be responsible for all housing management functions including carrying out health and safety checks, ensuring maintenance or repair work has been carried out, resolving neighbourly disputes or incidents of anti-social behaviour, and offering tenancy advice to our vulnerable customers or their support agencies.



You will be a hard-working individual who works well under pressure and is passionate about providing excellent customer service to our customers and other stakeholders.



To be successful in the role you will have:

Housing Management experience working with vulnerable people
Working knowledge of Health and safety requirements in relation to property management
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Report writing skills with proven experience of working with complex IT and housing systems
The ability to solve problems independently and creatively


Whilst normal office working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, occasional out of hours working may be required to meet the needs of our customers.



The post holder is required to hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle which is insured for Business Use.
