Job description
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a reliable HGV (LGV) Category C Class 2 Multi Drop Delivery Driver to join our team of agency staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations in a timely and safe manner for our long established & reputable client.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate an HGV Category C vehicle to transport goods and materials
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Load and unload cargo
- Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws
- Perform vehicle inspections before and after each trip
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driving licence (Category C)
- Up to date CPC & Digital Tachograph cards.
- ADR preferable please.
- Proven experience - minimum of 12 months.
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
- Ability to drive long hours and travel long distances
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Physical stamina for loading/unloading cargo
- Knowledge of road safety regulations
Salary:
£15.00 per hour
