An opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a Junior Clinical Fellow within the Plastic Surgery team at Salford Royal Foundation Trust.

This is a 6–12-month post which will provide an opportunity for the appointee to learn and develop subspecialty-level skill in the management of patients under the care of Orthopaedic and Plastic Surgery.

The successful candidate will be based at SRFT and Rochdale Infirmary.

The successful candidate will be based at SRFT with elective lists also based at Rochdale Infirmary.

The appointee will be expected to participate fully in the provision of Major Trauma services to the residents of Salford.

It is proposed that the appointee will participate in a 1/12 full shift system which will include outpatient clinics, operating theatre lists, on call and ward cover.

The appointee will be allocated 1 core SPA per week for professional development (CPD), Job Planning, Appraisal, Mandatory Training, attendance at regular team meetings which will have a clinical governance aspect and participating in Audit.
