About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified HVAC engineer to join our engineering team working on a static site in Birdsall as part of an onsite team on the UK`s leading paint manufacturing companies, so work in a industrial environment is essential for this role.
You will report to the contract manager and the lead engineer, This role is very client facing and you will be working in partnership with the client to deliver a premium maintenance service keeping there plant operating and complainant.
We are looking for an engineer to strengthen the service delivery to the client, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the site completing PPM tasks and minor maintenance works. You will lead on the all the Heating and cooling servicing and reactive work some of which will be OOH so overtime is readily available in this role. You will also for time to time be required to manage the sub-contractors that complete specialist tasks on site so experience of been an AP is advantageous.
We are looking for someone with either a commercial gas ticket or level 3 refrigeration qualifications to improve the skill set of the current team to permit more self-delivery on site Registration fees with Gas safe or REFCOM will paid for by the company
Your primary role will be to ensure that the contract remains compliant, and that clients' AD hoc requests are met with an aim to move to being a proactive contract where we predict the clients needs.
We need someone that can work autonomously with minimal management supervision you will be the first point of contact for the client for all maintenance requests and be the face of OCS.
Ensure you arrive for work on time in a clean and presentable manner, wearing the correct uniform, footwear and ID badge
Follow the correct methods and procedures
Attend all training sessions when requested
To adhere to the confidentiality policy at all times
Work on areas covering when other staff are not available
Responsive to client requests
Conduct Deputy Supervisor role in the absence of the Supervisor Requirements
- Functional skills in English and Maths
- NVQ Level 3 minimum in either commercial Gas or Refrigeration
- Previous experience of working in the commercial office environment
- Experience of working with a CAFM system to manage work loads is desirable
- Communication skills
- Reliable, efficient, helpful, and professional at all times
- Smart and presentable appearance as you are the face of OCS
