Your role as a KS1 Teacher

  • Delivering a broad and balanced curriculum in line with school policy
  • Teach any KS1 class
  • Set, mark, and monitor the pupils' assigned work, including homework.
  • Fulfill the school's and national assessment, recording and reporting system as appropriate.
  • Manage, with support, the work of Learning Support Assistants and other helpers in class to enhance children's learning.


What you will need to succeed in this KS1 teaching roleA successful candidate will:

  • Must hold QTS status.
  • Have recent experience of working as a primary teacher.
  • Have good interpersonal skills.
  • Showing good standards of professionalism, being well-organised and capable of working with policy and procedure to agreed timescales.
