Your new schoolA key stage 1 or 2 class teacher is required for a one-form entry Primary School in Camden. Your role as a KS1 or 2 Teacher

  • Delivering a broad and balanced curriculum in line with school policy
  • Teaching from planned objectives, which take account of differentiation to achieve progression in pupil's learning, setting clear targets for pupils' learning based on prior attainment.
  • Set, mark, and monitor the pupils' assigned work, including homework.
  • Fulfill the school's and national assessment, recording and reporting system as appropriate.
  • Manage, with support, the work of Learning Support Assistants and other helpers in class to enhance children's learning.
  • Take part fully in primary school duties such as supervising playtimes, taking whole school assemblies and class assemblies.


What you will need to succeed in this KS1 or KS2 teaching roleA successful candidate will:

  • Must hold QTS status.
  • Have recent experience of working in the education system.
  • Have good interpersonal skills.
  • Showing good standards of professionalism, being well-organised and capable of working to policy and procedure to agreed timescales.
