Personal Assistant required for a happy and lively 8-year-old boy who lives near Egloskerry.
He has a diagnosis of global developmental delay and he would like someone who he can build up a positive relationship with him and provide him with some 1:1 support. He likes cars and motors.
He would like someone to support him with his communication. He loves being outdoors.
A personal assistant will enable him to enjoy activities in his local community.
Rate of pay £12.00 per hour.
Up to 5 hours per week are available, although this is very flexible.
Some weekend and school holiday availability will be required.
Car driver preferred.
Some knowledge or personal experience of working with young people with special educational needs is essential.
The successful applicant will be employed under a private arrangement with the family. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
All offers of employment will be subject to the successful candidate undertaking an enhanced DBS check; this administration process will be undertaken by Cornwall Council.
