Personal Assistant required for a happy and lively teenage girl who lives in the Launceston area.
She has Autism and Tourette’s and she would like someone who she can build up a positive relationship with and provide her with some 1:1 support.
She would like someone to support her with her communication, self-confidence and independence. She loves being outdoors with animals, especially horses.
A personal assistant will enable her to enjoy activities in her local community and with her family.
Good rate of pay £12 per hour.
Up to 7 hours per week are available, although this is very flexible.
Some weekend and school holiday availability will be required.
Car driver preferred due to location.
Some knowledge or personal experience of working with young people with special educational needs is essential.
The successful applicant will be employed under a private arrangement with the family.
