We aim to encourage close links to the community, so we are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Christian person to organise, lead and develop a parent and toddlers’ groups in accordance with the good practice guide to make children, parents, carers, and the local community feel welcome.
As the Parent and Toddler Leader you will be responsible for weekly activities to ensure that all children attending have an enjoyable, stimulating, and varied session appropriate to their age with opportunities for singing and Christian prayer.
Part of your role will also require you to lead a team of employees and volunteers to ensure work is carried out to a high standard and in accordance with both The Salvation Army and any statutory policies and procedures.
If you have a commitment to being a practising Christian, a willingness and ability to bring ministry to the community, experience of working with children or pre-school children, knowledge of the child protection guidelines and a commitment to safeguarding and protecting children and adults we would be interested in hearing from you.
Note: This role does include manual handling such as the carrying of toys, tables and chairs.
This role has an “occupational requirement” to be a practising and committed Christian, actively involved with your own Church.
