Position Details:
- Location: Maida Vale, Northwest London (NW8)
- Contract Type: Permanent
- Start Date: Immediate
- Daily Rate: Paid to scale M1-UPS3
Requirements:
- Previous experience with secondary-age students (KS3 & KS4)
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons
- Experience working with students with Special Education & Mental Health Needs
- Strong subject knowledge up to KS4, preparing pupils for examinations
- Excellent classroom and behavior management skills
- Effective communication with staff, parents, and students ️
Responsibilities:
- Teach KS3 and KS4 Science (Physics, Chemistry, and/or Biology)
- Adapt lessons for varying learning needs
- Collaborate with students, parents/carers, and staff to ensure student progress
- Implement EHCP requirements into lesson plans
- Use a range of assessment strategies to track student progress
- Contribute to improving long-term outcomes for students
Qualifications:
- QTS or equivalent (Unqualified Teachers with relevant subject experience considered)
- Valid Enhanced DBS check registered on the update service
