If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! A SEN school is seeking a Science Teacher to join them in September 2024.
A renowned SEN school in Southwark for students aged 11 to 16 is seeking a qualified Science Teacher to join them full-time from September.
The Role:
- Strong knowledge of the science curriculum at the secondary level.
- Organised and professional manner.
- Work effectively with other members of staff.
- A Science Teacher with the ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback to help them to progress.
- Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive science lessons to SEN pupils.
- Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these.
- A patient and understanding manner are essential as the students learn at well below the national average for their age range.
Requirements:
- A science-related degree is highly desirable.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience teaching science at the secondary level.
- A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their best.
- A Science Teacher with excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with young learners.
