We have an exciting opportunity for you! We’re looking for an experienced Café Manager to take the lead in launching a vibrant new café in Yate (BS37).
We're looking for a dynamic go-getter with a proven track record in catering and management. You should have a sharp business acumen, excellent leadership skills, and a knack for bringing out the best in your team. Our ideal candidate is cheerful, creative, and hardworking, excited to join a dedicated team to help our cafes thrive.
In this role, you'll collaborate with various stakeholders to identify and seize future growth opportunities. Together, we'll build a thriving, sustainable business that the local community loves and supports.

- Experience in a supervisory position in a catering environment
- A strong working knowledge of food safety management
- Experience of food preparation within the hospitality setting
- Previous experience managing budgets in relation to profit and loss margins, small business or social enterprise
- Experience in managing staff
- Experience in customer service, including dealing with complaints or difficult situations
- Managing health and safety working practice
- Lead and manage the staff team to collectively drive forward and achieve the vision for the café
- Oversee and participate in the delivery of excellent food and customer experience
- Oversee all health and safety and food hygiene compliance
- Work closely with all relevant stakeholders /support functions to maximise opportunities for growth and expansion
- Develop and maintain mutually beneficial partnerships with local businesses, suppliers, schools, and colleges
- Work with the team to create exciting menu plans that reflect customer wishes and deliver appropriate profit margins for the business
- Undertake marketing and promotional activity in accordance with Brandon Policies and procedures
- Ensure accurate financial management and monitoring processes are in place and are accurate, provide quantitative and qualitative reports and data as required
- Identify areas for growth, produce relevant data and create plans in accordance with new growth.
