We have an exciting opportunity for you! We’re looking for an experienced Café Manager to take the lead in launching a vibrant new café in Yate (BS37).

We're looking for a dynamic go-getter with a proven track record in catering and management. You should have a sharp business acumen, excellent leadership skills, and a knack for bringing out the best in your team. We’re looking for:
  • Experience in a supervisory position in a catering environment
  • A strong working knowledge of food safety management
  • Experience of food preparation within the hospitality setting
  • Previous experience managing budgets in relation to profit and loss margins, small business or social enterprise
  • Experience in managing staff
  • Experience in customer service, including dealing with complaints or difficult situations
  • Managing health and safety working practice
Your responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the staff team to collectively drive forward and achieve the vision for the café
  • Oversee and participate in the delivery of excellent food and customer experience
  • Oversee all health and safety and food hygiene compliance
  • Work closely with all relevant stakeholders /support functions to maximise opportunities for growth and expansion
  • Develop and maintain mutually beneficial partnerships with local businesses, suppliers, schools, and colleges
  • Work with the team to create exciting menu plans that reflect customer wishes and deliver appropriate profit margins for the business
  • Undertake marketing and promotional activity in accordance with Brandon Policies and procedures
  • Ensure accurate financial management and monitoring processes are in place and are accurate, provide quantitative and qualitative reports and data as required
  • Identify areas for growth, produce relevant data and create plans in accordance with new growth.
