Contract Manager
£52,000 - £55,000 plus benefits (Work Level 5)

We're looking for a Contract Manager to join us and help us to effectively manage and optimise some of our major business relationships. Our Co-op technology team have embarked on selective outsourcing of key services to 3rd parties, and you'll play a key role in making sure that we continue to drive contractually committed value from these relationships, as well as identifying and delivering new opportunities.
In this role you'll be part of a dynamic team, taking ownership of multiple contracts supplied by BT and TCS, with an annual value of £46M. We'll look to you to improve effectiveness and deliver value for money, whilst managing the performance and cost of our contracts. If you can bring us the skills and experience we need, you'll have the opportunity to make a huge impact, allowing us to get the best value for money and reinvest for our members, customers, and communities.
What you'll do
* Take ownership of large managed service agreements, worth £46M annually, and make sure suppliers are performing and compliant with all aspects of contracts
* Work with service users to understand and measure commercial performance, helping to drive efficiency, innovation, and value for money whilst reporting and highlighting any commercial issues or risks
* Evaluate, measure and report on commercial performance through a supplier relationship framework
* Build relationships and work closely with internal partners to identify new opportunities
This role would suit people who have
* Strong experience of managing complex outsource relationships
* Excellent negotiation skills
* The ability to manage dynamic, conflicting priorities from multiple partners internally and externally
* Excellent relationship and engagement skills, and able to confidently challenge and influence up to a senior level
