Summary
During the 12-month placement the students will gain practical experience working in a financial environment, supporting the team of finance and contracting to ensure an efficient and effective service is provided to budget holders and contract managers in the NHS Greater Manchester Integrated Care Board (ICB). During the placement the students will work across the three areas of finance including Management Accounts, Contracting and Corporate. A work experience plan with learning outcomes will be agreed and progress against this plan will be monitored on a regular basis.Throughout the placement the university will provide support for both the student and the employer when required.
