I am a woman looking for help and support to start building and being able to live a meaningful life in the community.
I need support on a practical and emotional level. I have limited, but improving, mobility at the moment and want to capitalise on this. Experience of working in a care role, especially with experience in mental health, is advantageous. I am looking to work with people who have a genuine interest in mental health and think it would be a good fit for people hoping to go into a career in Clinical psychology or Mental health nursing or support work.. I am happy to be open about the things I struggle with and just need people who are interested and willing to ask and work things out with me.
Tasks would include:
Housework tasks
Support with meal preparation and shopping planning
Emotional support in general and around nutrition
Help with distractions and motivations at meal times
Support to engage in meaningful activities at home and in the community
As my physical heath allows help with getting out and about – coffees, short outings, recreational shopping
Help reintegrating into the community e.g. attending groups and activities
Helping me to find the things I like in life and value again
Driving is helpful but not essential.
I look forward to hearing from you.
