We are seeking a dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our team in Stockton-on-Tees, County Durham. As a Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment, delivering engaging lessons, and helping students develop a strong foundation in mathematics.
- Plan and deliver mathematics lessons to students
- Assess and evaluate student progress
- Provide constructive feedback to students
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum
- Participate in school meetings and professional development activities
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Degree in Mathematics or related field
- Experience in teaching mathematics at the secondary level
- Strong knowledge of the UK national curriculum for mathematics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire students
- Organisational and time-management skills
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Mathematics
- Experience in using technology in the classroom

This is a temporary position with full-time hours. The successful candidate will work in a school setting, following the school calendar and timetable. The salary will be based on the pay scale from the start of the booking.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
