Crynodeb
We are looking for experienced Paddlesports Instructors to join our JCA team this season from 3rd June to 12th July 2024 to deliver Canoeing, Kayaking and Raft Building on our onsite lake.
You will be based at our flagship UK Children’s Activity Centre Condover Hall in Shropshire.

The details:
• Live-in position (or live off-site if you live locally)
• Full-time, seasonal position from 3rd June to 12th July 2024.
• This role is paid at from £11 per hour

• You will be required to attend an in-person or MS Teams interview as part of the screening process.

What does the role involve?
As a Paddlesports Instructor with JCA you will be involved in instructing a variety of Paddlesports based sessions to our guests which include Canoeing, Kayaking and Raft Building. JCA specialise in School and Youth Group residential trips, this is a rewarding role where you will have the chance to really get to know our guests and understand their individual capabilities and limitations. You will be responsible for fitting and using equipment safely. It will be your top priority to deliver fun, educational and safe activities, making their trip one to remember.
What are we looking for?
• You must hold a Paddlesports Instructor (PSI) and Paddlesport Safety & Rescue Qualification
• Passion for working with children
• Excellent communication skills
• Safety consciousness & responsible
• Great customer service skills
We are looking for individuals with experience in delivering a variety of Paddlesports activities, in particular to children. You must be confident in leading groups of guests and working alongside other team members. This is a physically demanding role where you will need to maintain high levels of energy and enthusiasm throughout the season.
