Summary
To be considered for this role, you will need your own transport to travel to SY5 7AU due to the location and lack of public transport.
We are looking for part-time Housekeeping Assistants to join our vibrant team at our Children’s Activity Centre, Condover Hall which is based in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. This is a seasonal vacancy from now to October 2024 with the option to return for the 2025 season.

The details:
• This role is paid at from £11 per hour
• You will be based at JCA’s flagship activity centre, Condover Hall, Shrewsbury
• This role is from now to October 2024
• Part time hours to work a mix of Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Sunday
• Working hours are 9am - 5.30pm
• Accommodation is not available and you will need your own transport to travel to Condover Hall due to the location
What we’re looking for:
• Excellent attention to detail
• Able to work on own initiative and happy to try new things
• A team player – but also happy to work as an individual
• Reliable and responsible
• Previous experience working in a housekeeping or cleaning position is desirable but not essential
What will I be doing?
• Cleaning guest rooms and bathrooms
• Cleaning communal areas of Condover Hall
• Maintaining cleanliness and health & safety standards
• Ensuring the storerooms are stocked with necessary linens, guest supplies and cleaning equipment
• Helping to decorate the centre for events
• Working in a fast-paced and often physically demanding environment on our busy guest turn around days
