Your Role:
As a kindergarten educator, your responsibilities will include:
Facilitating a rich, sustainable learning environment for children.
Embracing our ethos and contributing to the happiness of children in your care.
Collaborating with a dedicated team of like-minded educators
Promoting and working with children within a meaningful child-led, curriculum, with the three pillars of sustainability at its heart. Planning and implementing engaging, nature-based activities.
Ensuring the safeguarding of children at all times, and to be able to dynamically risk assess their environment
Requirements:
A childcare qualification would be great but not essential
Experience with young children and working with families
Experience in imaginative planning, observing, and evaluating children's play and learning in an early year’s environment.
A passion for the outdoors and the drive to share our ethos and vision
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
The ability to work well with others, in a sensitive and inclusive manner
A commitment to reflective practice and continued professional development
