Job description
Premier Education, a leading provider of educational and sports programs, is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Primary PE/School Sports Coach to join our team. This role consists of delivering engaging coaching of various sports primary school students. The successful candidate will contribute to the holistic development of students, fostering a love for sports, physical fitness, and teamwork.

Sports Coach - Supporting Wrap Around Care

Pay Rate: £11.06- £12.10 per hour
Hours of work: 7.5-15 hours per week / 3pm - 5.30 pm
Monday to Friday (term time only)
Holiday Entitlement
Overtime available in school holidays - Day rate of £55 -70 per day

Care will be available in the after-school club every Monday to Friday in term time (breakfast club sessions may be available).

Premier Education successfully run full Wraparound provision in primary schools in the Bristol and north somerset area area. Our Premier Wraparound centres are Ofsted registered and can provide high quality out of school care for the parents. We are looking for an outstanding applicant with experience to lead one of our venues.

Responsibilities:

Sports Coaching:
Plan and deliver high-quality coaching sessions for a variety of sports, ensuring they align with Premier Education's standards and guidelines.
Tailor coaching techniques to accommodate various skill levels and age groups, fostering both skill development and a love for sports.
Stay updated on industry trends, coaching methodologies, and safety standards to continuously enhance coaching practices.
Program Development:
Contribute to the design and development of sports programs that cater to the diverse interests and needs of students.
Collaborate with the program development team to create age-appropriate and engaging curriculum materials.
Student Engagement:
Inspire and motivate students to actively participate in sports activities, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Provide constructive feedback and support to help students improve their skills and confidence.
Communication:
Maintain open and effective communication with students, parents, and school staff regarding program updates, achievements, and any concerns.
Collaborate with other coaches and staff members to ensure a coordinated and integrated approach to extracurricular sports activities.
Safety and Compliance:
Prioritize the safety of participants by implementing and enforcing safety protocols during all sports activities.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including health and safety standards, and obtain necessary certifications as required.
Event Coordination:
Assist in organizing and coordinating sports events, competitions, and showcases to showcase students' achievements and foster a sense of community.
Qualifications:

Coaching experience in various sports.
Relevant coaching certifications and qualifications.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Passion for promoting physical activity, teamwork, and positive values.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Understanding of child development and the ability to adapt coaching techniques accordingly.
