This lovely primary school is on the hunt for a male graduate who can fill the role of a primary teaching assistant.
This primary teaching assistant role will be to support two specific boys – Year 2 and Year 4. Both of these boys will need your attention at different points of the day. You will support them in class academic progress and support the class teacher in the delivery of an exciting curriculum. One of the boys has a personal need – physical disability – and you will need to aid him in putting on his coat – but there are no personal care needs attached to this role. Both boys are independent in many ways. Further explanation as to why this role requires a male will be further explained.
The needs of boy boys are social emotional difficulties – sometimes each boy will need to leave the classroom and you will support them in many ways. One of the boys is mad about football and the second loves comic books.
The headteacher feels that a male primary teaching assistant who has a desire to join a school in this capacity will be a great additional to the team. The ideal candidate will be a high calibre graduate who has excellent numeracy and literacy skills – a large part of this role will be supporting the academic progress of both learners and sometimes this progress will be made away from the classroom.
