TeacherActive are looking an enthusiastic Key Stage 2 teacher / KS2 teacher for one of our exciting primary schools in Waltham Forest London
The successful Key Stage 2 teacher / KS2 teacher will be working with children of mixed abilities. It is essential that you have good working knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum and that you have experience of planning and delivering quality learning experiences for pupils.
To be considered for this position you must have:
• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (Newly Qualified Teacher welcome)
• Experience of working in Key Stage 1 / KS1 or Key Stage 2 / KS2
• An innovative and creative approach to teaching
• Can be adaptive and think on their feet
• The ability to manage the class and deal with challenging behaviour
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver a knowledge-rich curriculum, promoting excellent progress and a passion for learning.
• Prioritize reading to ensure mastery of basic skills for all pupils.
• Engage in continuous training and development to become a master of your craft.
• Assess pupils' knowledge, provide feedback, and offer interventions to fill gaps, ensuring secure learning and catch-up.
