Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant - Bury (BL8)
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a local primary school, looking to hire a Teaching Assistant to work full- time with a pupil with undiagnosed SEN in Early Years. This role will be commencing in September, after the summer holidays. The role will be working with a pupil on a 1:1 basis, as well as providing general assistance in the Early Years provision.
This school is an Ofsted graded 'GOOD' primary school, with a support and hands-on SLT. Our client is a medium, modern primary school with a population of around 350 pupils, situated in the Elton area of Bury making it easily accessible from the surrounding areas, with great transport links.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience with EYFS and/or SEND - either professionally or personally e.g. a family member
- Be resilient and confident with challenging behaviour
- Have a nurturing personality and be non-judgemental
- Be able to follow instructions and be pro-active
- Adhere to the school safeguarding policies
- Have a passion to work with children
- Previous experience working in a Primary School is desired but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
