Due to our sustained expansion, we are currently seeking a diligent Van Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our team in Blackburn. This is a full-time position, requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week, primarily scheduled from Monday to Saturday. Early morning starts, commencing at 9:00 am, are typical for this role.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Picking customer orders within the warehouse and engaging in general warehouse operations.
- Conducting weekly vehicle inspections and promptly reporting any issues.
- Ensuring the cleanliness and refuelling of assigned vehicles.
- Delivering bathrooms, tiles, kitchens, and bedrooms to customers' residences, construction sites, and designated locations.
- Performing manual handling tasks such as loading and unloading vehicles.
- Safely handling furniture, tiles, and bathroom fixtures in accordance with established health and safety protocols.
- Verifying deliveries against paperwork and managing associated administrative tasks.
**Requirements:**
The successful candidate for the Van Driver/Warehouse Operative position will possess the following skills and qualifications:
- A current and valid driving license, minimum Class B.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to represent Sheth’s Interiors professionally.
- Flexibility in work approach to accommodate varying demands.
- Excellent physical condition, as the role may involve demanding tasks.
