Veterinary Surgeon - West Sussex
• This role would suit an experienced and skilled Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys working in a positive and supportive team environment.
• Salary of £45,000-£65,000+ depending on experience/AP status/certificates

• Well equipped with extensive laboratory equipment, range of soft tissue and orthopaedic surgical equipment, diathermy and suction machines, digital x-ray and processing software, dental equipment, state of the art ultrasound machine and endoscopy with video screen, new CT Scanner.
Our client is a proudly independent growing small animal practice situated in a charming village nestled in West Sussex they are looking for an experienced Vet to join their expanding team who is looking to thrive and grow in a positive surgical and medical environment.
The role will be 75% at a hospital and 25% at one of the surrounding branch clinics. Our client has 2 state-of-the-art hospitals in the local area and 4 busy branch clinics.
You will be joining an experienced and close-knit team of vets and nurses who hold additional qualifications and have years of experience. They offer a wide range of quality services from routine consultations and emergency care through to complex surgery and management of critical cases. The Advanced Practitioner vets provide referral level surgery, including orthopaedics such as TPLOs and soft tissue surgeries including BOAS.
The hospital is well equipped with extensive laboratory equipment for in house blood and urine testing, a modern, comprehensive theatre suite, a complete range of soft tissue and orthopaedic surgical equipment, diathermy and suction machines, digital x-ray and processing software, dental equipment, state of the art ultrasound machine and endoscopy with video screen.
They have seen an exciting development and growth of a new referral service in ophthalmology, and success with a new hydrotherapy centre under rehabilitation, and the successful implementation of a new CT Scanner and service!
Our client is looking for an all-rounder GP Veterinary Surgeon with 2/3rs+ experience, confident in routine procedures, general practice & occasional sole charge
The hospital is nestled in a delightful village in the heart of West Sussex. With easy access to outdoor activities such as hiking along the South Downs Way and exploring nearby attractions like Parham House and Gardens, the area appeals to those craving both tranquillity and adventure.
The Rota:
• 40 hours per week over 4 days
• Mixture of shifts (7.30am-6pm, 8.30am-7pm and 9.30am-8pm)
• Daytime weekend rota
• Bank holiday rota
• Occasional on call
