A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join an award-winning practice in West Sussex. Located in a lovely town near the South Downs National Park, our client is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Veterinary Surgeon to join their experienced team in the beautiful Sussex countryside.
This long-established practice has recently undergone a renovation, now offering top-notch onsite facilities including Digital X-ray, Haematology, an In-house laboratory, Ultrasound, Dentistry, Ear Surgery, and separate Cat and Dog wards. The team consists of 9 vets, 9 qualified nurses, supported by trainee nurses and nursing assistants, along with a great front-of-house team. Several team members are pursuing additional certifications, with two already holding certificates in small animal medicine. Our client supports any area of interest that will enhance their service offerings to patients and clients.
You will be joining a happy and busy practice that provides a very high standard of care while maintaining a compassionate approach. The practice is committed to excellent patient and client care and has been nominated for Best Practice or Best Vet of the Year every year since opening in 2013. Recently, they were awarded Veterinary New Graduate Practice of the Year, an accolade they are very proud of.
The successful candidate will possess strong medical and surgical skills, with a desire for continuous learning and development. The Rota:
• Full time - 40 hours per week
• Shift patterns tend to be 8am - 6pm or 10am - 8pm (only 1 late shift per week)
• 1 weekend per month weekend (Saturday 9am - 6pm, Sunday 10am - 4pm)
• No OOH or sole charge
• Flexible working options available
