Exciting Opportunity for a Caring SEN Teaching Assistant in South Leeds!

Are you a compassionate and patient individual with a passion for supporting students with special educational needs (SEN)? We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join the warm and welcoming team at one of our partner Primary Schools in South Leeds.

About the Role:

This full-time role offers an immediate start until the end of the academic year, providing 1:1 and general class support to pupils across the KS2 classroom. You'll have the opportunity to assist Year 5 students with learning activities, small group sessions, and 1:1 interventions under the guidance of the Class Teacher. Previous experience supporting pupils in an educational setting, particularly those with SEN and behavioural needs, is essential. We're looking for candidates with strong behavioural management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within the staff team.

Ideal Applicant Qualities:
- Previous experience supporting pupils across the KS2 curriculum.
- Confidence in delivering 1:1 and small group interventions.
- Ideally, hold a level 2/3 qualification in SEN Support/Teaching Assistant.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within the existing staff team.
