SEN Teaching Assistant Location:
Yorkshire and the Humber, West Yorkshire, Leeds, LS6
Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours
Education and Training
£85 - £100 Per day
- Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development
- Assisting teachers in planning and delivering tailored lessons to meet individual needs
- Providing one-on-one support to children with SEN to help them achieve academic goals
- Helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Assessing and recording pupil progress and behaviour
- Communicating effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals involved in the childrens' education
- GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths
- Experience working with children or individuals with SEN
- Understanding of different learning styles and strategies to support SEN pupils
Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths
Prior experience working with children or individuals with Special Educational Needs
- Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Patience and empathy when working with SEN children
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- First aid training
- Working in a school setting
- Full-time hours
- Temporary position

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
