SEN Teaching Assistant


Location: Yorkshire and the Humber, West Yorkshire, Leeds, ls7

Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £85 - £100 Per day
- Provide support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a classroom setting
- Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for pupils with SEN
- Work closely with teachers to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Help students with SEN to develop their social and communication skills
- Provide one-to-one support to children as required
- Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
- Relevant experience working with individuals with SEN
- Understanding of safeguarding procedures
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Previous experience working in a school or educational setting
- Experience supporting students with SEN
- Knowledge of different learning needs and strategies to support pupils with SEN
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- First Aid training
- Mental Health First Aid qualification
- Working hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
- Temporary position with the possibility of extension
- Supportive and collaborative work environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
