Job Description – Graduate English Academic Mentor
• Graduate English Academic Mentor
• Provide educational and pastoral support for students in KS3 and KS4
• As a Graduate English Academic Mentor– Earn £465-£520 per week
• English subject graduate needed – 1st and 2.1 degrees are essential
• Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm
• Full-time, long-term position
• Interviewing now for an immediate/September 2024 start.

As a Graduate English Academic Mentor, you will play a vital role in ensuring ‘no child is left behind’ as you put your academic background to use supporting English students.
Following detailed training and instructions provided by teaching staff, you will guide both high-achieving and low-ability students on a 1-1 and group basis throughout their English studies.
In the role Graduate English Academic Mentor, you will use your academic background and implement the successful learning techniques that helped you flourish throughout your time in education to inspire the students you mentor.
This Graduate English Academic Mentor role is well suited to individuals looking to gain more experience in school as well as those looking to develop into qualified teachers, as successful candidates have potential to join paid teacher training courses in September of 2025.
