Summary

Required from September 2024
Are you an innovative and passionate graduate, a sports undergraduate who is looking for a third- year placement, or a sports coach?
Would you like to work in a positive and inspiring learning environment? Would you like the opportunity to join a highly successful Surrey independent preparatory school? Are you able to inspire your pupils to achieve their potential? This exciting full-time position is available from September 2024 on a fixed term contract for the next academic year and offers the opportunity for a committed and innovative graduate, or sports undergraduate looking for a third-year placement, or a sports coach, to join our successful Sports Department.
We pride ourselves on the way in which we educate and support all our boys. You will assist the Sports Department in the delivery of sports and PE, coaching boys, managing and maintaining teaching resources, updating assessment data and assisting with extra-curricular sporting activities and clubs. You will be required to drive our school minibus to transport boys to and from fixtures as well as our sports ground; a full UK driving licence is therefore essential. Coaching and umpiring experience in one of our key sports – football, rugby or cricket would be helpful.
This role is ideal for a graduate or an undergraduate, who is considering a career in teaching, or a coach looking to develop their skills in a school environment. You will need to be available on Saturday mornings to support fixtures.
You will be paid £21,329 for working 175 days per year with the opportunity for overtime when supporting extra-curricular activities and weekend fixtures. We offer excellent training and CPD opportunities, free lunches during term time and a generous pension scheme.
