Discover the unique opportunity to work with our client at The Open University, a distinguished public Distance Learning and Research University. As one of the largest universities in the UK for undergraduate education, they are at the forefront of innovation and education excellence.

We have an exciting opportunity for a temporary Administrator (Practice Based Learning Assistant) to start ASAP; the end date will be 31/07/2024. This position will be working part time (18.5 hours per week - to be agreed), will be working from home and is paying £15.85 per hour.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised individual to manage, develop and coordinate placement activity to facilitate the delivery of the School's Professional Programmes. You will support the professional programmes and staff tutors in managing the development and maintenance of student practice placements in line with the requirements of their professional body.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include ensuring that efficient systems, processes, and procedures are in place to develop and support practice-based learning experiences for students. Working with colleagues from across the University, you will be responsible for administrative processes, data entry, validation and maintenance related to the practice-based learning experience of students. Additionally, you will be a point of contact for prospective students, current students and their employers or sponsors and the wider team regarding practice-based learning experience.

Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess strong technological, administrative, and organisational skills. You will be highly motivated, able to demonstrate flexibility, excellent communication, team working and a commitment to collaborative working across organisational boundaries. Adaptability and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are also key attributes.

We are seeking an individual with expertise in report generation, data interpretation, and proficiency in Excel. This role involves tasks related to analysing data, creating insightful reports, and effectively utilising Excel for various purposes
