**Job Title:** Support Worker (Fife Support Service)

**Location:** LinkLiving’s Kirkcaldy office.

**Hours of Work:** 37.5 per week (Monday to Friday, Saturday on a rota basis)

**About LinkLiving:**
LinkLiving is a Scottish charity that supports individuals overcoming trauma, mental health challenges, poverty, and inequality. We help people build on their strengths and aspirations through various services, including personal development programs, self-help coaching, supported accommodation, care at home, housing support, befriending, and social cafes.

**The Service:**
The Fife Visiting Support Services provide Short Term Housing Support and Long Term Care at Home, helping people live independently in their homes, sheltered housing, or temporary accommodation. A car and a full driving licence are essential for this role.

**The Job:**

*Short Term Housing Support:*
- Provide housing support for up to 6 months to help individuals sustain their tenancy.
- Develop relationships with individuals, offering emotional, practical, and social support.
- Assist in areas such as income maximisation, managing tenancies, independent living skills, accessing specialist support, reducing isolation, and improving mental health and wellbeing.

*Long Term Care at Home:*
- Offer a visiting care service to enable independent living.
- Provide emotional support, help with personal care and medication, and assist in developing household skills.
- Support service users in income maximisation, tenancy responsibilities, and community engagement.
