A new opportunity has arisen for the position of Sixth Form Learning Mentor.

Bilton School is an exciting ethnically mixed vibrant 11-18 comprehensive with approximately 1120 students (115 in the Sixth Form). Our school is full of wonderful students, and fantastic staff all working together to make every school day a brilliant day! We do this by fostering a culture that encompasses our values of respect, resilience, and kindness. We relentlessly focus on three school priorities; Achievement, Learning and Teaching and providing Memorable Experiences. Our aim is simple; put students at the heart of everything we do!

The Sixth form is an essential part of our provision. It allows us to nurture the talents of our students and gives them the academic qualifications and confidence to go on to positive destinations. Our Sixth formers act as role models for the rest of the school population, and we have a wide-ranging curriculum offer which we are always looking to enhance. This role provides the opportunity to build on these foundations but also further enhance what we have in place.

Ofsted (2021) graded the school as ‘good’ in all areas including the Sixth Form and found that relationships between pupils and staff are incredibly positive. In addition, they said, ‘Students’ personal development is very well supported at the school with staff having high expectations for all.

If you feel you share our values, have the vision and drive for excellence and want to be part of an enthusiastic and dedicated team, committed to ensuring that students fulfil their potential, then we would like to hear from you.

Bilton School is part of the Stowe Valley MAT. It is made up of three Good/Outstanding Secondary schools, an all through school and seven primary schools. Being part of this family of schools allows us to provide extensive opportunities for collaboration and professional development.
