Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Higher Clerical Assistant tp3. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with various administrative tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

As a Higher Clerical Assistant tp3, you will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient office operations. You will be responsible for managing and organizing paperwork, maintaining filing systems, and handling incoming and outgoing correspondence. Additionally, you will assist with scheduling appointments, preparing reports, and providing general administrative support to the team.

The ideal candidate for this role is a proactive and resourceful professional with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You should have a strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask efficiently. Strong computer skills and knowledge of office software applications are also required.

Responsibilities
Assist with organizing and maintaining office filing systems.
Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail and email.
Prepare, format, and proofread documents, reports, and presentations.
Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for multiple team members.
Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations as needed.
Assist with data entry and database management.
Provide general administrative support to the team as required.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience in an administrative role.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The R&D Higher Clerical Assistant roles offer support to Childrens Services Social Work Teams who work and engage with young people and their families.

The role involves high volume call handling, data inputting and general office tasks

What we are looking for from you
You will have experience of call handling and data inputting , excellent customer service skills with attention to detail with strong clear communication skills both verbal and written as understanding is key as this is front line .
Ability to work to agreed standards and deadlines


You must be able to work flexibly and adaptably to changing priorities. You must be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. A positive and customer focused attitude is essential.

The work is all office based, this is a PT post of 22hours
this Monday and Friday will need to be working days.
