For September 2024 we require a talented and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work in our expanding Specialist Resource Base.
Willows High School is an inclusive comprehensive school serving the Splott, Tremorfa and Adamsdown areas of Cardiff. Willows High School, working in partnership with Cardiff Local Authority, has established a Specialist Resource Base (SRB) which caters for pupils in years 7 to 11 all of whom have various complex and significant learning needs. The numbers on roll will increase year on year until the new school is built with a bespoke SRB catering for 30 pupils. The pupils are taught in class sizes of up to 10. All groups will have a dedicated Teaching Assistant and the pupils are predominantly taught by SRB ALN Specialist Teachers. Some provision within each group’s timetable may include lessons with mainstream staff.
