Summary

Administration of New Supplier requests & vendor records maintenance. This is the key focus of the role. The University has implemented a new Finance System (Oracle Fusion) and as part of this Procurement have responsibility for the management and administration of supplier master data. This includes all audit checks on suppliers and setting up the supplier on Oracle Fusion.

Currently the University engages with over 1200 new suppliers each year all of whom must undergo audit checks and be added to the Oracle system.

Oracle Fusion went ‘live’ in March 2024 and this role is key in supporting the implementation of the system and workstreams associated with this.

The role will also involve management of the Purchase Order lifecycle and will therefore have duties under the remit of Finance (Accounts Payable).
