Connect Driver Solutions have exciting opportunities available for Class 1 Drivers in Pollington on a temporary-to-permanent basis!
Pay rates: £14 to £17 per hour (PAYE, no Ltd or outsourced payroll)
Schedule: Day shift tramping, Monday to Friday on walking floor work (if required to cover on RORO, you will be day shift only)
As a Class 1 Driver, your responsibilities will include:
- Class 1 driving operating a walking floor (experience desirable but not essential as training is given)
- Drivers will be trained up on covering on the ROROs
- Collecting and delivering processed and unprocessed waste & biomass products to various sites across the UK
- Performing vehicle checks
The successful Class 1 Driver will have:
- A valid CAT C+E licence/LGV 1/HGV 1 licence (held for at least two years)
- A minimum of 6 months of experience on C+E vehicles
- A valid DQC and digital tacho cards
- No more than six points on your licence with no DD, CD, DR, IN or TT codes accepted
