This is a temporary position that offers excellent pay rates and the chance to gain valuable experience within a reputable organization.Key Responsibilities:- Safely and efficiently operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle, complying with all road and traffic regulations.- Conduct pre and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any issues promptly.- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to designated locations, following specified routes.- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading and unloading of goods.- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery documents.- Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining professionalism and representing our client in a positive manner.- Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times, ensuring the safety of yourself, colleagues, and members of the public.Qualifications and Skills:- Valid HGV Class 1 license, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in driving Heavy Goods Vehicles.- A valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).- Sound knowledge of road and traffic regulations, with a keen eye for detail.- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a professional approach.- Strong organizational and time management abilities, ensuring punctuality on job assignments.- Ability to work independently and efficiently, demonstrating a high level of personal responsibility.- Good physical fitness, capable of carrying out manual handling tasks as required.If you are a motivated HGV Class 1 Driver with a passion for driving and delivering exceptional service, then we want to hear from you!
