We are looking for a Smart Repair Lead for our busy BCA Corby site. This is our newest opportunity to join a successful and high volume bodyshop and within this role, Smart Repair Lead will be responsible for the SMART refurbishment processes on site supervising smart repair, paintless dent repair and in-house wheel refurb. It is a key role, as you will be ensuring all vehicles are inspected to a high standard and in line with the preparation standard policy, whilst driving day-to-day efficiencies.

Previous experience as a SMART Technician is essential for this role.

Your key responsibilities will be:


Supervise a team of smart repairers
Provide quality control over repairs carried out by team members
Keep management informed of current and forthcoming issues
Coaching the team as of when required- acting as a mentor for all of your peers
Take part in team briefings within site and report outcomes
Responsible for own safety and that of others around you


To be successful, you’ll bring some of the following experience with you:


Previous experience in a similar role with a knowledge of smart repairs (essential)
Must hold a full UK driving licence (essential)
Previous experience with supervising a team of technicians (desirable)
Experience of working in a fast-paced operational environment.
Ability to use Microsoft Office applications and bespoke company IT systems.
