IRS Recruitment is proud to partner with a vibrant, upscale hotel & pub chain dedicated to delivering an exceptional dining and holiday experience. Our client, based in Southwold and the surrounding villages, has shops which are home to a diverse range of products, including their award-winning products as well as homeware and food ranges. They are currently seeking a Sales Assistant to join the team and deliver the exceptional shopping experience that their customers return for time and time again.

Location: Southwold and surrounding villages
Salary: £11.44
Employment type: Full-time & Part-time
Salary additions: Comprehensive and innovative benefits package
Flexibility required to cover a variety of shifts per week including bank holidays and weekends.

Role Overview: As a Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in providing knowledgeable and friendly service to the customers, showcasing products with passion and enthusiasm. Ideal candidates will have previous retail experience, attention to detail, and excellent communication and organisation skills. You will assist in merchandising, maintain operational standards, and deliver products to local customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide excellent customer service, offering product advice and assistance.

Assist in merchandising and maintaining store presentation standards.

Deliver products to local customers as needed.

Work collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach.

Flexibility to work weekends and hold a full UK driving license.

Requirements:

Previous retail experience is preferred.

Passion for the products and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Attention to detail and organisational skills.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
