If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dedicated team as a Food Technology Teacher at our SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) School.
Key Skills Requirements:
• Expertise in Food Technology: We're seeking a skilled professional with a solid understanding of food preparation, nutrition, and culinary techniques.
• Teaching Experience: Experience in teaching food technology to students with diverse learning needs, particularly those with SEMH challenges, is highly desirable.
• Creativity and Innovation: Are you brimming with creative ideas to engage students in practical and theoretical aspects of food technology? We want someone who can make learning both fun and informative.
• Adaptability: The ability to tailor lessons and resources to meet the individual needs of students with SEMH requirements is essential.
• Patience and Empathy: Working with students facing social, emotional, and mental health challenges requires a compassionate and patient approach. We're looking for someone who can provide the support and encouragement our students need to thrive.
• Strong Communication Skills: Effective communication with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians is key to success in this role
