Are you an accomplished Hospital Quality & Risk Manager, and are you seeking a new job in Reading? If so, we want to hear from you! Stroud Resourcing is working with a flagship private hospital to recruit a passionate, detail-orientated Quality and Risk Manager. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week across Monday-Friday - no weekends, no evenings, no nights & no bank holidays are expected. The role also comes with an attractive salary of £55,000 plus excellent benefits.
As the Quality and Risk Manager, you will work closely with the hospital management team to ensure high levels of compliance and patient safety across all departments including Theatres, Diagnostics, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Wards and more. You will also be responsible for:
- Coordinating and developing the hospitals governance activities, policies and systems.
- Directing and supporting CQC inspections, ensuring the hospital maintains their Good CQC rating – but aiming for outstanding!
- Taking a pro-active approach to minimise risk, maximise safety and share learning amongst the team.
This 5* rated hospital has modern and contemporary facilities with 30 beds, a 20 bedded day surgery unit and 5 theatres. They offer a range of surgical and outpatient services for adult patients including orthopaedics, spinal and general surgery. They regularly invest in both their facilities and their people and have plans to install a new MRI scanner this year!
To apply for this Quality and Risk Manager role, you will need to have proven experience working within governance and have a clinical background with an active registration (NMC/HCPC). You will also require a proven track record of supporting healthcare providers to achieve a Good CQC rating.
