Procurement Project Manager (L4Z2)

Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Procurement Project Manager to join our team in the Government Administration industry. As a Procurement Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, ensuring efficient and effective acquisition of goods and services to support our organization's goals and objectives.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to develop and execute procurement strategies. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process, including identifying sourcing opportunities, conducting market research, negotiating contracts, and monitoring supplier performance.

This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a strong understanding of procurement best practices, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Responsibilities
Develop and implement procurement strategies and plans that align with organizational goals and objectives
Manage the complete procurement cycle, including identifying sourcing opportunities, conducting market research, supplier selection, contract negotiation, and supplier management
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, specifications, and establish procurement objectives for each project
Conduct cost analysis and supplier evaluations to ensure optimal value and cost savings
Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, addressing any issues or discrepancies that arise
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering a collaborative and mutually beneficial partnership
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a government or public administration setting
Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, methodologies, and tools
Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to analyze and interpret data, perform cost analysis, and drive data-driven decision making
Well-organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software applications
