Deputy Team Manager

Description

5 days on site per week during initial induction / training period, thereafter minimum 3 days per week on site per week

Following growth in our Care Leavers and UASC Service, we require an experienced Deputy Team Manager with a robust understanding of young people’s whole journey through the care system.

You will need to have the ability to develop strong relationships with key partners such as Housing and Health and be able to advocate for our young people so to secure the access to services that they need.

The Deputy Team Manager will support the team with pathway planning for young people to ensure that they have equal opportunities to study, to work and to live in high quality accommodation which meets their needs; you will also provide the Personal Advisors in the service with regular supervision alongside the Team Manager.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual for the position of Deputy Team Manager in the Health and Social Care industry. As the Deputy Team Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the team manager in successfully leading and managing a team of healthcare professionals. Your exceptional leadership skills, strong organisational abilities, and in-depth industry knowledge will contribute to the overall success of our organisation.

Responsibilities
Assist the team manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the healthcare team
Collaborate with the team manager to develop, implement, and evaluate policies and procedures
Support the team manager in recruiting, training, and supervising staff members
Ensure adherence to industry regulations, standards, and best practices
Monitor team performance and provide feedback and coaching to ensure high-quality service delivery
Assist in developing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the achievement of team goals and objectives
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within a healthcare setting
Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Proven ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Exceptional organisational and problem-solving abilities
Proficient in using computer software and electronic medical record systems

Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £39.00
