SALARY: £20,000 - £24,000 pro rata + Bonus + Benefits

LOCATION: Remote (you can be based anywhere in the UK)

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, 6 Month Contract with the potential to go Permanent for the right candidate.

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Sales Executive / Telesales / Telemarketing Specialist who has previous experience selling over the phone and building rapport quickly with potential customers with the ability to listen and understand their needs and align this with the company’s specialised services.

Working as the Sales Executive / Telesales / Telemarketing Specialist you will play a pivotal role in expanding the company’s market reach. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with key decision-makers in ship management or ship owning companies or shipyards, introducing them to the company’s specialised services and assessing their potential needs and purchasing behaviours.

As the Sales Executive / Telesales / Telemarketing Specialist your goal is to set up meetings that pave the way for potential collaborations and contribute to the company’s strategic sales and marketing objectives.

DUTIES

Your duties as a Sales Executive / Telesales / Telemarketing Specialist will include:

• Utilise VOIP technology to make calls and record interactions with prospective clients

• Proactively contact potential customers to introduce the company’s services, aligning with the company’s sales and marketing strategies

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s services to effectively communicate their benefits and adapt the sales pitch according to the customer's profile and needs

• Assess and gather insights on the purchasing behaviours of prospects to determine how they could benefit from their services

• Master industry-specific terminology to engage meaningfully with technical managers, fleet managers, superintendents, and vessel managers

• Adapt communication style to suit both professional and casual interactions as needed

• Drive efforts to secure strategic meetings, laying the foundation for successful partnerships and projects


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Proven track record in sales, with a focus on telemarketing or cold calling

• High proficiency in English, including familiarity with maritime industry jargon would be highly desirable

• Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to focus on call volumes and quality of calls
