Job Title: Multi Wickman Operator

Position Overview:
We are seeking a experienced Wickman Multi spindle Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for loading and unloading metal bars into the Wickman machines as needed. Additionally, you will monitor the machine during operation to ensure smooth functioning, troubleshoot any issues that may arise, and perform quality checks on machined parts using relevant measuring equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Loading and Unloading:
• Safely load metal bars into the Wickman machines as per production requirements.
• Efficiently unload machined parts from the machine and transfer them to designated areas.
2. Machine Monitoring:
• Monitor the Wickman machines during operation to detect any abnormalities or issues.
• Respond promptly to any machine alarms or malfunctions to minimize downtime.
3. Quality Control:
• Inspect machined parts using various measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Ensure that all parts meet specified quality standards and tolerances.
4. Collaboration:
• Work closely with setters and other team members to ensure smooth production processes.
• Communicate effectively with team members to address any concerns or issues that may arise.
Requirements:
1. Experience:
• Previous experience operating Wickman machines or similar automatic lathes is preferred.
• Familiarity with loading and unloading metal bars into machines is desirable.
2. Technical Skills:
• Ability to use measuring equipment accurately to perform quality checks on machined parts.
• Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot machine issues.
3. Attention to Detail:
• Strong attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and quality of machined parts.
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately.
