Cardiovascular CSU Head of Nursing
The Role
We’re seeking a passionate and inspired individual to be responsible for the day to day professional nursing leadership for our Cardiovascular services (CVS) Clinical Service Unit (CSU). Reporting to the CSU Unit Director, you will be a pivotal part of the CSU leadership team. It’s an extremely rewarding role, working with the wider multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement new models of care to ensure that patients and families are able to receive the best care possible, supporting the move from hospital to the community setting.
The areas you will be responsible for will be;
• Manchester Vascular centre (46 bedded inpatient vascular specialty ward)
• Acute cardiac centre and cardiac inpatient wards 3 and 4
• specialist nursing teams
You will be supported by a team of Matrons who you will be managerially responsible for, along with specialist nurses and ACP's.
